Paraphrase

When Suran stood in the middle of the sea as a mango tree, Muruga throws a lance at him. Unable to bear the heat, the sea water evaporates, exposing the slushy mud underneath. The fish twist and turn, and the holes in the base of the sea expose Adisesha's thousand hoods and the gems on them glitter in the light. Due to the speedy movements of the lance, the clouds gain momentum and pour down as rain. Suran had obstructed the flow of water from the rivers into the sea, which in turn had made the mountains unstable. Now, with Suran's fall, the rivers start flowing again, the fields become green and fertile once again.
