Paraphrase

முத்தைத்தரு பத்தித் திருநகை (mutthai tharu patthi thirunagai) : "Displaying pearl-like, well aligned rows of teeth, smiles வெண்முத்தை போன்ற, அழகான பல்வரிசையும் இளநகையும் அமைந்த

அத்திக்கிறை சத்திச் சரவண (atthukkiRai satthi saravaNa) : DEvayAnai, and You are her Consort! You are SaravaNabhava, holding the powerful spear called SakthivEl! அத்தி: elephant, metaphorically refers to Deivayanai , அத்திக்கு இறை : Lord to Deivayanai, ie, Muruga.

முத்திக்கொரு வித்துக் குருபர எனவோதும் முக்கண் பரமற்கு (mutthikkoru vitthu guru para ena Othum) : You are the seed for moksha or salvation! The Supreme Guru!" — so praises Lord SivA, who has three eyes (the Sun, the Moon and the Fire-Agni);

சுருதியின் முற்பட்டது கற்பித்து (mukkat mukkat paramaRku suruthiyin muRpattathu kaRpithu) : to that SivA, You preached the fundamental ManthrA OM, which dates earlier than the VEdAs ; வேதங்களுக்கு முதன்மையான ஓம் என்னும் தனிமந்திரத்தை மடி மீதமர்ந்து உபதேசித்து,

இருவரும் முப்பத்து மூவர்க்கத்து அமரரும் அடி பேண (iruvarum muppatthu muvarkkaththu amararum adi pENa ) : while Lord Brahma and Vishnu and 33 kinds of Devas – all watched (Your preaching) and worship Thy feet; (அடிமுடி அறியவெண்ணி அங்குமிங்கும் அலைந்த) பிரமன் திருமால் இருவரும் கூட முப்பத்து முக்கோடி தேவரும் சேர்ந்து நின்னடி பணிந்து வாழ்த்தி நின்றிடவும்,

The next lines describe Vishnu, the uncle of Muruga.

பத்து தலை தத்த கணை தொடு (patthuth- thalai thatthak kaNai thodu) : He (Vishnu) shot a single arrow that blew the ten heads of Ravana (கணை( kaNai) : arrow;

ஒரு பட்ட பகல் வட்ட திகிரியில் இரவாக (pattap- pagal vattath- thigiriyil iravaaga) : and as Krishna, hid the Sun with His ChakrA (disc) for a very short time on the thirteenth day of the Mahabharata war, facilitating the slaying of Jayadratha by Arjuna in retaliation to his unfairly killing Abhimanyu, Arjuna's son.
This incident is also mentioned in seerana kola kala

பத்தற்கு இரதத்தை கடவிய பச்சை புயல் (patthaRkira thatthaik kadaviya pacchaippuyal) : He is the god with a green cloud-like complexion, who drove his bhakta's chariot.

(பச்சை புயல்) மெச்ச தகு பொருள் (mecchath thagu poruL) : and You are worthy of being praised by Vishnu (as described above)

(patshatthodu rakshith tharuLvathum oru naaLE) : Will You ever protect me in a preferential manner? (will You ever offer me Your special protection?)

களம் மிசை குக்கு குகு குக்கு குகுகுகு குத்தி புதை புக்கு பிடி என முது கூகை கொட்புற்று எழ (kaLamisai kukku kukuk kukukuku kutthip puthai pukkup pidiyena muthukookai kotputRezha) : and in the battle field old vultures (முது கூகை) circle above amidst cries of 'catch him, kill him'; கொட்பு = சுழற்சி, சுற்றுதல்;
